Broward County Cultural Division and Syracuse University are collaborating to train the next generation of arts leaders and journalists. This collaboration is highlighted in an article by Rob Enslin writing for Syracuse University, Arts and Sciences News
The first workshop of a three part series was held in October at ArtServe, where over 40 people including professional writers, amateurs, students, and self taught media writers came together for a day of presentations and discussions on the state of art writing in the age of the internet.
Two more workshops will take place at ArtServe in January and February 2015. They will focus on Expanding the Framework for Arts Coverage on January 31st and Building Skills/ Writing Workshops on February 21.
