Marking it’s 10th year in Miami, ABMB received a record breaking 700 + applications with more than 200 galleries being accepted to the main sector. Hundreds more galleries also found homes in numerous satellite fairs throughout the Miami Beach and Wynwood neighborhoods.

Fair viewing doesn’t come cheap. The main event costs $40.00 a day ($28.00 after 4:00) or $85.00 for a permanent pass and many of the satellite fairs range from $10 – $25.00. After viewing the main event at the convention center you make want to pick a few other choice fairs like Aqua , Art Miami ,Pulse or Scope and then take advantage of the many free exhibitions and events offered throughout the city.

Art Public | Collins Park @ 21st St. In collaboration with the Bass Museum, Collins Park will transform into an outdoor sculpture garden and performance space featuring renowned artists and emerging talents. Art public opens on Wednesday, November 30, with an Opening night program featuring evocative performances by various artists and collectives including Theaster Gates and the Black Monks of Mississippi, who will respond to works on view through song and verse and the Alalaô Collective which will transport the Carioca spirit of Rio de Janeiro into Miami with it’s presentation of “Nimbo Oxalà” by Brazilian artist Ronald Duarte.
Art Video nights | Soundscape Park | 500 17th St. @ Washington Ave. New this year and in association with London’s Artprojx, Art Video nights will present six screenings over three nights on the 7,000-square foot outdoor projection wall of the New World Center. Showings will be Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 and 9:00 PM admission is free so bring blankets or deck-chairs and enjoy.
Art Basel Conversations | Convention Center Auditorium next to Info Zone D Art Basel Conversations is an engaging series of conversations and panels featuring leading art world figures including artists, collectors, curators, and academics these conversations both challenge the mind and entertain.
